Year after year, the crowd turns out for Senior Camp, a program that offers the kind of variety and options that this age group enjoys. The program design, Mini-Acadamies, allows campers to choose major activities in electives such as Sophisticated Arts & Crafts, Music, Drama, Interactive Storytelling Workshop, Martial Arts, Basketball, Soccer and Baseball. Mini-Academies allow for longer periods, great for really getting into the project or game. A typical week in Senior Camp, a bridge between Middle Camp and On Wheels, features 2 days out on trips, 2 days with extended elective periods, a morning at Manhattan Beach, an afternoon of special events, and a weekly swim. Senior Campers have an enthusiasm of their own that follows them wherever they go. Groups are co-ed.
Features Two Trips Each Week
Seniors travel twice a week to destinations ranging from cultural and learning centers like theater, museums and zoos to recreational activities such as canoeing, skating, water and amusement parks and ball games. Senior Camp joins On Wheels on many trips.
Overnight
Solid camp friendships and close relationships with the staff give our seniors the confidence they need to enjoy what for most is a first overnight camp experience. Club Getaway, a longstanding camp tradition, is a top-notch residential camp in the Berkshires. Travel is by first-class coach bus.
