Fifth and Seventh Avenue Fairs
Come June, you’ll see us out on the street at the Seventh Avenue Fair in Park Slope. PSDC staff will be walking up and down the avenues wearing their yellow PSDC t-shirts and giving prizes to campers who are also wearing their PSDC t-shirt! So come enjoy the wonders of the fair, make sure to wear your PSDC shirt and be on the look out for our staff wearing the same!

DONATE YOUR HAIR

Did you know that they hair you leave on the salon floor can make a child very happy? Donate your 10" ponytail and it can be woven into a wig for a child in need.  Though our Valentine's Day event is over we will continue to partner with 2001 Unisex Haircutting in Windsor Terrace to make donations to Locks of Love.  


Here’s How it Works

• Click here to make your appointment
• Go to your appointment with your hair already washed and dried and in a ponytail
• A hairdresser will cut your ponytail and shape your hair free of charge. 
• Your hair will be left even and nicely shaped, but you should not expect that your hair will be styled. If you would like a more elaborate haircut, you can arrange that with the salon.  Feel great about your donation and know that you will make a child very happy.

PSDC will take care of mailing the donated hair to Locks of Love. The salon has donated their time to cut ponytails, but please don’t expect a style unless you have made a special appointment and will be paying for that service. Click here to see the Locks Of Love FAQ page .
